What’s the best thing about being a CNA? “Everything. I mean, it’s challenging but it’s also rewarding in so many ways. Just the fact that you’re touching somebody’s life is rewarding. ”
What’s the worst thing about being a CNA? “I think I would have to say the workload. If you’re in an eight hour period, that’s not really enough time to do everything that every single resident needs. Because sometimes you feel guilty, you know, after you clock out and you’re driving home and you think, ‘did I remember to get this water, did I remember to take this person to the bathroom?’ You know, ‘did I document this, did I document that, did they get their extra snack, and did I go by and give them the hug that they told me to come by and get?’”
