(3/3) What’s it like to be 70? “It’s nice. It’s not bad a tall. It’s pretty good. I’ve lived longer than my mom. It shows that I did something right. I mean, I fell a lot, and that’s why I’m in the wheelchair. But 70 is not bad at all.”
Do you ever wish you were younger? “I guess all of do sometimes. There are some things I’d like to do better than I do now. If I was walking, I would be able to do things I can’t do now. To go places it’s a little bit of a hassle. Other than that, life is pretty good. You thank the Lord you’re here.”
What’s the best thing that’s happened in your life? “My two daughters—they are 44 and 42. I don’t have any grandchildren. I would like to have grandchildren. But I don’t pressure my kids.”
